Black magic, possession and bizarre deaths turn a normal family's life into a non-stop nightmare. After the death of her mother, Amy is excited to meet her Aunt Felice, but the arrival of this mysterious stranger strangely coincides with a gruesome series of violent deaths. Amy soon realises that she is heir to a horrifying family legacy, and Aunt Felice has a nasty way of showing her affection.

"A nasty, well-made shocker" Sunday Express

"We should give (Stephen Volk) the benefit of the doubt as the press notes underline the fact that director Pen Densham had considerable input on the rewrites... Once again a director with no understanding of what makes a horror movie work has taken a potentially interesting idea (...) and turned it into a popcorn cruncher aimed at the lowest common denominator"  Philip Nutman, Fear Magazine
